Dan Meis, FAIA was asked by a private Vietnamese-based developer to envision a master plan for a new sports and entertainment district in the Thu Thiem region of Ho Chi Minh City.  Developed to create an entirely new destination in the South Pacific, the master plan includes a multipurpose arena, 40,000 seat soccer stadium, cinema complex, retail, residential, office, hospitality, and a theatre.  The plan seeks to reinvigorate the waterfront with further new development.
