Sacramento Basketball Arena Design Study

Sacramento Basketball Arena is designed as an intermodal transit facility combined with an entertainment and sports complex for approximately 20,000 spectators in the southern section of the Sacramento Railyards. The complex was designed in a symbiotic way that creates public space, provides connectivity to and achieves synergies with surrounding districts, while reinvigorating the downtown region. Dan Meis, FAIA, also served on SacramentoFIRST, the Mayor’s Arena Task Force created to find a solution for a new NBA adequate facility in California’s state capital.
