Designed by Dan Meis, FAIA, Paul Brown Stadium is the only NFL stadium ever recognized with a national AIA Honor award. It was also mentioned in a recent AIA survey as one of the Nation’s 150 most loved buildings. The building has significantly enhanced the revenues of the Cincinnati Bengals and was recognized in 2001 with a prestigious Architectural Record/Business Week Award, one of only two sports buildings ever selected. Through a dynamic, deconstructed design, the stadium is evocative of the strength and speed inherent in the sport of football. The open corners allow dramatic views into the stadium and for the fans, an amazing vista of the skyline of Cincinnati and the city’s famous historical bridges. The 67,000-seat open-air venue includes 104 private luxury boxes and 7,600 club seats.
Renovation work on Paul Brown stadium incorporatse new and bigger scoreboards within existing structure, while creating additional signage opportunities. The enhancements also include the replacement of under-utilized club seats with premium loges, the addition of a new club, and two sponsored bars with pitch views.
