Exhibited as part of the Los Angeles A+D (Architecture + Design) Museum’s “Celebrate the Wearable” exhibition and show, this whimsical homage to the power of the female form playfully imagines architecture as clothing and clothing as architecture. The bra as monument takes on a more provocative stance when conceived as pure fashion and adornment in the form of a “mono-bra”. Dan Meis was a founding board member of the A+D Museum.
