Our project goal was to create a uniquely Disney sports destination focused on youth sports training, education and innovative sport experiences. Utilizing planning principles to optimize the 5 EWWS pillars (Soccer, Baseball, RunDisney, Cheer, Basketball), and to achieve an experience-based venue through expansion of Disney Brands and partnerships - ESPN, NBA, Cal Ripken, FIFA - further developing and enhancing the “Disney Difference”.
Our studies included integrating innovative sport technology, research, training, and education experiences to create a cohesive story to improve the overall guest and cast experience. Enhancing wayfinding, connectivity, accessibility, climate control, security, dining, and new flexible entertainment venues, all worked towards creating unique revenue adds to the complex.
The new site story, highlighting the future opportunities of the site through place-making, reflect the Disney values - sportsmanship, inclusivity, and site legacy.
