Developed as a master plan to create an entirely new destination in the Middle East, the Desert Winds project included a mix of building types such as an exhibition center, hospitality, and entertainment complex on an undisclosed site in Manama, Bahrain. In addition, the master plan had identified opportunity for retail and office space, an amphitheater, shaded marina, and multiple hotels.
